CLAES LINDAHL
Phd in Business Administration, has 40 years of experience as a management consultant (Maynard PRC) and in development co-operation. He was as staff member of the World Bank and, since the 1980s, manager of consultancy firms in development. He has undertaken work in private sector development and trade for ITC, Norad, Seco, Sida, Swedfund, UN, the World Bank and other organisations. He was official investigator for the Swedish government on Credits and Guarantees in the context of development assistance, and is the main author of Sida’s current private sector development policy Making Markets Work for the Poor. From September 2010 he has a long-term assignment to support the development of Sida’s emerging B4D programme. Claes is coordinator of DevFin’s network. His passion off work is writing, currently a book based on the life of Jean-Jacques Rousseau. Claes is based in Stockholm.
