HENRIK ELLERT
Danish citizen has 35 years of professional experience in development with a focus on private sector development in Africa, a specialisation on finance, SMEs, and value chain development in agriculture. He has experience in financial engineering working with a mix of financial tools from guarantees to leveraged equity and quasi-equity instruments for a range of investments in southern Africa. He has an extensive experience of Danida’s Business to Business (B2B) programme and has worked as a consultant also to organisations such as IFC, EU/ACP Center for Development and Sida. He has a practical background in industry with hands-on experience in business development. Henrik works in English and Portuguese. Off-duty Henrik spends time as a writer and researcher in history and ethnography. He is partly based in Copenhagen, partly in Harare.
